Orthognathic Surgery

Orthognathic (jaw) surgery is a method of treatment administered by orthodontics and jaw surgery branches of dentistry to improve both functionality (chewing, speaking) and aesthetic appearance in the patients with severe jawbone abnormalities. This treatment which can be applied for both jaws if needed:  is applied to the patients who have severe chewing, closing and speaking problems in facial area and problems about respiratory functions due to the disharmony of jaws and have aesthetic concerns about the facial area due to the jaws positioned too far forward or too far back.
