CAD CAM applications, which stand for the computer-aided dental and manufacturing in dentistry, eliminated the need for taking measurements of the mouth of a patient in conventional way.  A camera integrated in a computer takes images of the teeth to design prostheses, which makes it possible to have perfect restorations in a single session.
